Penny works in her garden studio in rural Norfolk creating quirky amusing greeting cards, artwork and gifts. Her products really are bubbling over with gentle humour raising smiles where ever they go. Each item is carefully hand finished using genuine sheep’s wool to give that added dimension loved by so many. Sheep are what started her business back in the 1990’s, since Penny has a background in prehistoric archaeology studying textile technology and ancient sheep breeds. She became a spinner, weaver and dyer and now is putting these past lives into her current body of work. Dogs have become a very popular theme in recent years, and notably the gorgeous dachshund – who so lends himself to Penny’s woolly treatment! Penny grew up with dachshunds – miniature long haired black and tan mainly – and has always had a soft spot for their enchanting personality and beseeching eyes. As a teenager the dachshund would travel in her cycle basket around the streets of London – probably not such a good idea nowadays! Please visit the website for fantastic original items.
